This year to promote practising foreign languages we decided to offer the possibility of hosting foreign students from the AIMS music festival. On the 10th of August 15 foreign students came to Chit-Chat school and watched a show by the magician "mag Pere". We had dinner on the terrace and people had to talk to somebody new from another country. After, people had to introduce the new person to the rest of the group. We were 36 people and we had fun. Then last week we saw some of the musicians we knew playing in different places in Solsonès. One couple from Solsona, Alba and Agustí hosted a couple from Belgium while their son Felix was at the AIMS. Alba spoke a lot of English having hosts for 12 days and it was a good experience for the four of them.
Now this week Josh from Minnesota is spending one week in Solsona staying with a family but also meeting other people from Solsona who were willing to host people.
He has been to Pont del Clop, Montserrat, Port del Comte, Barcelona, Cardona's salt mountain and castle, Jenna's party etc.
Josh was interviewed by a Regió 7  reporter and he said he had learnt a lot about Solsona and Catalonia.
We hope that next year we can organize similar activities because this time it worked really well.
